European Social Fund (ESF) 2011-12

This page and attached information relates to the Department of Work and Pensions European Social Fund to support families with multiple problems who “could benefit from employment focussed support”.

Local Authorities are the prime means of identifying those families/households that will benefit from the additional support which will be provided through the contracts that are let by DWP. This could include families that have been stabilised following intensive support from family intervention services. As part of these arrangements providers are expected to work closely with Local Authorities who will ensure that their proposals are appropriate for the area. Providers and Local Authorities will also need to agree processes for identifying families with multiple problems.

The service specification and supporting information has been issued with the invitation to tender. This opportunity is only open to those on the Department’s Framework for Employment Related Services.

Bristol information session for approved providers 15 July.

Delivery will start in late 2011/early 2012.
